config file

hey people
does anyone know where the config file is
i wanna change the url location of
domain.com/gallery to
gallery.domain.com

is it as simple as editing the config file ?
if so what is the file

configuration is not stored in a file, but the database. When logged in as admin (admin mode), click on config and edit whatevere you need to edit.

Setting up a subdomin requires some steps on your server (not coppermine related) and additionally editing the cookie path setting and the "link to ecard".
If you can't access the config in the way described above (for example because your login doesn't work), you'll have to use a tool like phpMyAdmin to edit the vars directly in the mySQL database (not recommended for beginners though).
