broken links
« on: July 20, 2004, 10:15:16 am »

Hi.

I'm using XENU to check my site for broken links and get a lot of these:
"http://www.photocr.com/photos//displayimage.php?pos=-51" as broken links (changing the number).  I know this is probably because of the double / in the URL, but I don't know how to fix it.

thank you.
shutiri.

review your settings in coppermine config for "Target address...for ecards". Make sure there's no trailing slash. Update to cpg1.3.1 recommended, it doesn't have this issue.

done... thank you again.
just to know: several weeks ago I asked if it was recommended to use CPG 1.3 and you told me (or maybe casper) that if I'm not php expert it was better to wait.  Is this a good time to upgrade ?

I don't think either Casper or I would have kept you from upgrading after cpg1.3 has been released, so maybe you were asking while cpg1.3 was still under development. To answer your question: yes, you're recommended to upgrade to the most recent stable release, cpg1.3.1
