Only 'guest' after logging in as admin
« on: May 17, 2011, 02:11:37 pm »

I am unable to login as anything other than GUEST. I suspect that this is a cookie problem as it began after I changed the path to cookies. Is there anyway that I can access and change it back?
Would re-installing Coppermine be an option?

Regards

You can change the cookie path in the config table of Coppermine's database. Use a tool like phpMyAdmin to access your database.

Thanks for the tip

I am using Navicat from my PC but logged into the hosts cPanel and used their PHPMyadmin to change the value and it worked OK.

Hi,

I was having this same problem when using Internet Explorer. It happened for no particular reason...it simply randomly occurred one day. No matter how many times that I had attempted to login (with my correct information) I was greeted as a guest.

Try opening your gallery using a different browser. I used Google Chrome instead of IE and it worked for me!
