CHMOD error
« on: July 22, 2009, 02:07:10 pm »

hello,
im trying to install the Coppermine Gallery, on my own
webserver, its working on Fedora.
one of the first steps in instructions is "change CHMOD to 777 or 755"
and here my problems are start.
I changed all permissions, and CHMOD is numbered as 40777
but the permissions in all folders and subfolders are ok,
because all can write, read and save.
so, im tryin to install the gallery now, and what?
The installation writes that i have to change my CHMOD
in the folders...
Is anyone using Fedora on his server?
can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Boniu

We can't really help you with webserver setup. Read up http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#permissions
