[Solved]: IPD login Issues
« on: June 17, 2009, 03:50:37 pm »

Coppermine install: http://www.knightsclan.info/gallery
Forum install: http://www.knightsclan.info/forums
Coppermine version: 1.4.24
Forum version: IP.Board 2.3.6
Test user account: login: testing /  password: test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL: http://www.knightsclan.info/forums
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie name/prefix (if applicable)

The bridge seemed to work, however, when I hit login in Coppermine it takes me to the forum login & then when I enter the login details it takes me to the forum main page rather than Coppermine. If I then navigate to Coppermine I'm still not logged in.

Thanks in advance for your help. Sorry if you have answered this elsewhere, I searched the forums but couldn't find anything relevant to this problem & IPB forums.

Cookie path has to be '/'. If you set it to /forum Coppermine can't read them.

Are you saying that I should change the Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/ to just / because if so I get the following

* /conf_global.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file

If not I am not sure what the Cookie path refers to.

Thanks

Should be a setting in IPB for that. I can't tell you exactly since I don't have IPB.
