upgrading on different servers
« on: June 01, 2008, 01:11:29 am »

Hi,

I am moving my websites to a different host company and I would like to install the latest version of coppermine.

But also, I would like to keep my album structure.

the thing is that the database settings are going to be different.

I don't have a problem creating a dump of the old database and uploading it to the new server.

Should I just install coppermine as a new installation and then copy the album directory, upload the database and then run the update.php script?
