Thanks for all the help... I really appreciate it.

So maybe you could help me with a new problem now that uploads are working. I tried to change the information in Update/Create Categories as seen below.

(https://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fpublic.winkel.bz%2FNorm.Winkel.Bz%2520Storage%2520Area%2Fpic10.jpeg&hash=ec64959a2e8f1644cf5c871e56a001cddfdda4a5)

It didn't save the changes and the page just refreshed after clicking the button to Update/Create Category

I went into MySQL to change it my hand. It wasn't a huge issue.

I then noticed that when I went into the area Users to make someone an Administrator rather than just Registered it didn't save the changes there either.

I can modify my profile, add comments, edit comments, etc.

Those are the only two things I seem to not be able to do as of now.

Any thoughts on it?

If you can do this, then you shouldn't be having any problems, so I am inclined to believe this is a training issue.  :D

When you make the changes to the User Groups, click the e, then make the changes, then click Update/Create. The page should refresh with a blank form.  Then click the e again, and you should see your changes.

As for making an admin out of a regular user, you must select the checkbox for admin and select admin from the drop down menu.

Also, before you get too far into your gallery, CPG 1.2 will be available in a few hours, so you might do an upgrade (using the upgrade script) or a fresh install with it.  (That simply means dropping the tables from MySQL and deleting the coppermine directory as well as any cookies in your browser.)

Let me know if you need anymore help.
