Every file appears blank
« on: May 08, 2008, 09:16:11 pm »

When I try to make edits to any of the files in my domain for coppermine, every file I click to 'edit' appears blank.  I get nothing but a blank white screen.  For example, I wanted to make the necessary edit to include the online today plugin, but the page appears blank so I can't make the necessary edit.

How are you trying to edit them?

By clicking the edit button for the file in my domain directory where the file is located.

You do not refer to a coppermine control, do you? You refer to a sort of file manager in the control panel your webhost is providing, is that correct? Post a link to your gallery for a start.

Recommended way to edit files is to download them via FTP, edit them with a simple text editor and then re-upload them.

Update first. Running <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.16 (stable)--> is not a good idea as it contains a security flaw. Get 1.4.18 and update before doing anything else.

Cheers
