I want to remove the Random Images & Latest Additions display blocks.
How do I do that?

Config => Album List View => Its in that section.

Yeah, I found it... read a bit more of the documentation... odd concept, I know... 

Anyway, it was in the config settings.
In the Album View Settings -> "The content of the main page" field
from the default grouping, I just removed:  /random,2/lastup,2

This has been asked and answered so often that it hurts to still see this question being asked over and over again.
There is a reason why we provide documentation and even added a corresponding section to the FAQ ("I don't want to show the last uploads and/or random pictureson the start page. How do I edit what's shown on the start page of coppermine?").
In the future, please read the docs and search the board before posting!
