Admin functions gone!
« on: April 12, 2007, 11:28:55 am »

Hi,

Coppermine was working great the first day, but the next day; I can still log in as "admin" just fine...but none of the normal admin options appear.  When I try to jump right to the "admin.php" or "config.php" pages, I get the following error:

"You don't have permission to access this page."

I'm using 1.4.10, according to the readme file, and the gallery is located at: http://www.judithpriesttribute.com//gallery/index.php

Thanks for any help you can provide.

diavi,

I just had the same problem and visited this forum.

The FAQ states that the script generates a lot of stress on the server. So it happens that if you´re adding >300 files (didn´t try to find the exact number) of files, the script logs you out.

Just add 200 at a time, that worked for me.

Hope I could help and registering here paid off for you.

Actually, I figured out what the problem is!  I was going straight to the URL INCLUDING the /index.php

As soon as I just went to the URL (without including the file name) it came up just fine!

Also note:  when I include the "www" in the address, the problem is still there.  But, if I leave out the "www" in the front of the link, and the "index.php" at the end of the link, it works just fine.
