Last Additions on my website homepage.
« on: January 27, 2007, 10:12:40 am »

Hi,

I have added Last Additions in my webpage www.bookstocollect.com. I need it to look exactly the same as it shows on the gallery homepage www.bookstocollect.com/gallery.

Can some one please help?

Well, if you look www.bookstocollect.com, it shows Last Addtions images on the home page right?
But its design/information is totally different then the Last Addition section at www.bookstocollect.com/gallery

Is there a way I can get the same design & information of Last Addition Section on homepage?
if its a big issue, can I only get the same information being displayed below each image on homepage?

Regards

Yeah, that should be do-able.

In short, since I don't want to take away the fun of figuring it out yourself...

Your going to want to make a table on your page that makes it look like the additions section.  Inside that table, have cpmfetch generate the latest additions.  Set subtitles to be the way you want them to appear.

Otherwise, you can play with CSS to get the fonts, and headers down.

All the stuff you would need is in the documenation

Should be fine.

Hi Vuud,

Thanks for your help, I understand what you mean and will do accordingly.

One thing I wanted to ask is that can you tell me what variable should I write on my homepage which will show the Description below the image?

Like %t and %S shows title and size. I need to know the variables to display
-Image Description
-Upload Date like it shows on the gallery index
Actually I was unable to find the two options.

Hi,

I had resolved the last post myself. Thanks for all your help.
I had mentioned %c for Caption and %w for date uploaded.

Sorry, I had a pretty icky set of computer problems over the past week.  Also got a Wii.

If you are using the dev release, check the readme file... there is a new style to call those... the old way is going away
