catergories on a separate page ??
« on: January 11, 2007, 01:08:51 am »

is it possible to have a link on the main page to a separate page listing all catergories with titles and small thumbnail. everytime I add a line of catergories to the main page I get two rows of titles then underneath large but low resolution images.
I want to try and get the latest uploads on the first page then link in the sidebar to a page of catergories.

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

I'm not sure I follow. I have had a rethink about the whole structure of the site and I think rather than have catergories I should just have albums of specific subjects then I just add more images to each relevent album as I get the pictures, it seems less complicated. It would be usefull to be able to navigate to a page that just has the albums listed (as you get on the main page if you add it to the layout) without the recent files or anycontent etc If I placed a link in the menu what would be the url or path to see such a page if possible.
