Hi. This happened when the site was 1.3 and also does the exact same thing after an upgrade to 1.4.10.

The domain and URL of the gallery stayed the same, I just took the cpg folder and the sql database and put it on a new server. Everything works fine as far as users logging in and uploading, but I have a lot of pictures that are on the server and in the albums folder still, but they don't show up in the gallery like the link is broken or something. Uploading new pictures works flawlessly, but its a problem with some of the pics that were uploaded before the move.

http://shawnmaggard.com/cpg/ Apache2, PHP5, GD2, CPG 1.4  version checks show everything is ok except for anycontent.php which the instructions told me to keep anyway. I am thinking this is possibly some sort of permissions problem?? Visit the link and you will immediately understand what the problem is, pics don't show up. O and I also had to change the config.inc.php to get the correct mysql password since it's different on the new server.

Oh Buddy!

Whatever i came to know via visiting ur website is this that probably you during the upgradation task you have replaced your album folder also with the new version of coppermine empty folder of "albums" check and make it pelase sure that in ur /public_html/cpg/albums/ you have all files of your images.

If i am right kindly restore ur old backup before upgradation and then re upgrade with new version with reading all the instruction of upgradation!

or if u moved your server u have not moved your albums directory

Well, the albums folder contains the edit, Imported, Pets, and userpics folders. Inside the userpics folder is a LOT of pics. I have made sure to not replace the albums folder with the blank folder. I followed the upgrade instructions perfectly, and also it did exactly the same as before the upgrade. I thought maybe upgrading would fix the problem but it didn't help any. Thanks for the tips!

Well, the pics are not where coppermine expects them - you get 404 not found errors when trying to access the pics. Examples: http://shawnmaggard.com/cpg/albums/userpics/mini-IMG_0607.jpg, http://shawnmaggard.com/cpg/albums/userpics/mini-IMG_0615.jpg, http://shawnmaggard.com/cpg/albums/userpics/mini-DSC03410.JPG
Check your server's hard-drive structure: are the pics actually there? Did you CHMOD (and maybe CHOWN) them as needed when moving?

Hmm, could this have anything to do with the actual placement of the cpg folder on the HD going from something like /usr/local/apache/htdocs/cpg to /var/www/cpg/ ? I have made the entire albums folder owned by www-data (chown www-data.www-data), and chmod to 777.

It seems like when I copied the entire CPG folder via FTP (i was also on the local network) a lot of pics didn't get included.  I will check into this and get back with you. Thanks so much for your help!
