No admin permissions after fresh install?
« on: August 27, 2006, 01:19:16 pm »

I have installed cpg149 fresh from the zip-file.
No problems during install, but now as I loggin as the admin (I CAN loggin), there is no Admin/config button/link.
And when I enter /admin.php manually at the address line, I get a message that I have no permission to view the page (exact text may vary because the message was in dutch).
Neither can I go to the /config.php page.

I see the tables the install has created, the admin account seems to have Administrator rights... everything looks fine, but I cannot get to any admin page???

What went wrong? I've re-run the installation several times on different sites, everytime the same result.

Your login appears not to stick. Check if you have a login link in your navigation. If yes, then you're just not logged in. Post a link to your page, maybe you have a cookie flaw. Also check that your browser is set to allow cookies from your domain and that you don't have a crappy pseudo-security app running like "Norton Internet Security" that blocks cookies by default.
