Hi,
Just after successfully upgrading my forum to phpbb2021 I upgraded the gallery to cpg1.4.8.
Former versions where bridged and worked for a long time with no problem.
Then I did the bridging with the Bridge Manager.
I have the most common problem but couldn't find the solution here:
going from phpbb to Coppermine, I am not logged in in Coppermine.
If I try to login I am (rightly) redirected to phpbb and then back to Coppermine but not logged in.
If I disable bridging I can switch from one to the other and stay logged in, but I loose Users Albums.
Looks like some previous bridging settings are on the way.

Cookies in bbforum:
Cookie domain: tripcentre.org
Cookie name: phpbb2mysql
Cookie path: /

you have bad cookie setting(mising www)
on bbforum:
cookie domain=>www.tripcenter.org

I have changed it and still the same. So I rerun the Bridge Manager also adding www. in front of domain name but still no improvement. Shall I reinstall or something else?

I have tried all cookies settings with no results.
Now I am back to cookies on both forum and gallery as
www.tripcentre.org

Note: I emptied the  cookies before testing.

Situation:
bridging enabled
all albums are viewable and correctly assigned to each user
no login possible: redirect is to bbforum but when going back user is logged off

If I disable the bridging:
albums are not viewable or assigned to Mr X

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks for answering.
- I have modified the cookie in Phpbb
- I have rerun the bridge manager in cpg (only known way to change the cookies)
- I have reset all cookies in the browser

but the results are the same as previously stated.
Any more suggestions on what to try are very welcome!

your domian cookie on CPG is pointing to www.tripcentre.org fix this too

I am not sure how to change this anymore.

As I said, I had re-run the bridge manager and changed to :  .tripcentre.org
Now I checked in the database and the cookie_prefix in cpg133_bridge is actually .tripcentre.org

But when browsing http://www.tripcentre.org/foto (and not even trying to login), the cookie registered is:
www.tripcentre.org

how can I change this? I have just re-run the bridge manager and the result does not change.

I don't think it's a cookie problem. I'm not sure what is wrong but if you are happy to PM me FTP/MySQL access details I can take a closer look for you.

You set your cookie prefix to '.tripcentre.org' when bridging for some reason known only to you. I've hardcoded this into the bridge file since the phpmyadmin data does not appear to be valid. You'll need to re-run the bridge manager and use the correct cookie prefix (phpbb2mysql). Then upload a clean copy of phpbb2018.inc.php

I am testing a bit and let you know if there's  a problem.

Prefix and domain are 2 different things. Remember to take the additional steps outlined or it will break again next time you update your gallery.
