Possible to bridge to phpBB running off of MSSQL?
« on: June 28, 2006, 08:03:55 am »

Is it possible to have Coppermine bridge to phpBB if the phpBB DB resides on an MSSQL server?

My attempts to bridge with the Bridge Manager returns errors and my searches of this forum doesn't return anything from within the last two years.

Any insight would be appreciated.

It should be possible, you'd need to change the database fiunctions to use the mssql equivalents and then adjust the query syntax if needed to work with mssql. All the bridge related queries will be in udb_base and the phpbb bridge file.

Has there been any word of someone making a phpBB bridge for a BBS running on MSSQL since this post?
