"Batch add files" for 1.3.x
« on: April 29, 2006, 03:46:48 pm »

OK. Two questions.

1. I think I've read everything several times, particularly where to pur what in what in where and why. But I'm still not sure I understand why when I click the Batch add files like I only get the promt to "Select directory" and the message "This function allows you to add a batch of file that your have uploaded to your server by FTP. Select the directory where you have uploaded your files." No directory appears. How does Coppermine know where my directory is? How do I get it to look for one.

I've uploaded the files into a directory NOT of the kind forbidden.

2. Also, I want my files to be downloadable for printing purposes. Large size, high resolution. When I use Add a file it makes the file smalled (no matter what minumum size I select in options) which makes it of poor print qulaity.

Grazie.

  • one issue per thread!
  • in case you're not using cpg1.3.x, but cpg1.4.x, switch the batch-add interface from "browsable" to "classic"
  • Do as suggested in the upload troubleshooting tutorial (for cpg1.3.x) or the upload troubleshooting section of the docs (for cpg1.4.x)
  • There are threads that explain how to add download links
