Hacking - Disapearing Albums
« on: April 13, 2006, 12:43:27 am »

Right, I'm just fiddling about with my gallery (www.cubeshack.co.uk) and suddenly an album just disapears...
I haven't ran the delete process or anything...
I check my ftp and ALL of the files inside the folder the images were, have gone (and there were something like 1800, so I doubt the script ran on my computer without me realising)...
I started to think my host was playing up... but, the entire album disapeared... in other words, the entire SQL references were gone, there was no icon any more... it had the same effect as deleting it as the administrator...

So, I closed the gallery and updated it from 1.4.3 to 1.4.4... but when I opened it, about 20 minutes later another album went in the same fashion!
Anyone have any idea whats going on and how to fix it?
It seems to be a hacking thing...
Help!!!

Review your server access logs.  Look for unknown ip addresses accessing your site.
