Comparison files
« on: March 04, 2006, 10:43:41 am »

I have just upadtes from 1.3.4 to 1.4.4 and all seems to be ok, however, when running update.php and checking files version the file comparison show lots of files marked in red and yellow.  The red marked files are suggesting the file is missing from my server but that is not the case and theyare on the server.  I have coppermine in a subdomain could this be the issue.

Post a link to your page and a screenshot of the red and yellow stuff of versioncheck.php (enable "show folders/files with errors only" before taking the screenshot).

the versioncheck.php routine doesn't work on all server setups, that's why there isn't even a file version next to the files, they're reported to be missing completely. Judge by looking at your webspace using your FTP app: if the files that versioncheck.php reports to be missing actually exist on your server and are readable, then you can savely ignore versioncheck.php - it simply doesn't work on your server setup then.

Thanks - the files are on my server and they are set with read checked so it must be that versioncheck doesn't work on my server.
