Batch upload permissions question.
« on: February 16, 2006, 04:53:01 am »

This is probably a dumb question, but on Linux, is there a way to set the permissions of the Album's directory so that when I FTP new folders with images that the permissions are pre-set so that Coppermine can process the images?  Right now I have to FTP the image directory, login to the server to change permissions and then run the batch upload process.  Maybe there's just something simple I'm missing?

Thanks.

permissions are inherited from the parent folder. CHMOD the parent folder and make sure that this propagates to the child folders as well.
