Ok. im new so please bear with me...

I upload all the files as usual and then ran the install.php file, i set up my database as i did with many other scripts before, when i put in the details for the install.php an error comes up.

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered


Question: do i have to add something to the part that says:

MySQL table prefix  (default value is OK; do not use dots!)   =  cpg143_            <--------do i have to add something after that?

I suspect this is the only thing it could be.

Sorry for takng up precious space on your board but i had a space i did not see... sorry again, its all working ok now
