Admin is no admin
« on: December 30, 2005, 07:18:55 pm »

I´ve bridged my forum with coppermine to use the same database. After I´ve updated coppermine to 1.4.2 one of my admins let me know he doesn´t have admin rights anymore (can´t create new albums, delete comments,...). I as other admin have no problems at all. any what´s wrong?

Do I need to run install.php again or do I just need to upload all files?

Doing everything as being said and as I´ve done before with 1.4.2. Ran install.php and got this error:

The installer has already been run successfuly once and is now locked.

If you want to run the installer again, you first need to delete the 'include/install.lock' file that was created in the directory where you put Coppermine. You can do this with any FTP program.

I can delete it and run it again but my question is if that is needed?

Edit, needed to run update instead of install, my mistake :)

I shall ask my admins when I see them.

EDIT, I had a quick look at the user list in coppermine and the people that should be able to upload pictures and my other admins show as "registered".

I had a look at the phpbb permissions and the other admin is the same as me: Admin

He is also head of a group called partyspotters which are the people that can upload pics but have no admin rights. They show as registered (should be partyspotters).
I edited the group and made me head instead of the other admin and I still could get to the admin cp of coppermine while he was kept as registered.
