I want to allow my users to download videos directly from my video album without streaming the videos online. What I tried was upload a picture as a preview of the video and write HTML code in the description field to hyperlink it to the original video but that didn't execute the HTML code. Then there's this site http://pakigeek.com/umerace/isbunderground/gallery/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=0 in it's VIDEOS album they have images with "DOWNLOAD VIDEO" links with them. How can I do that? Also the video previews (which seem to be normal pictures in albums) can't be clicked unlike normal pictures although they can be clicked in other albums where there are only pictures. Severe help needed!

P.S: I tried the video thmbnails trick but they won't show up eventhough the file/thumb image were correct. Where do I upload the humbs? Galler/images/ right?

There is already a hack for a download link.  Look around a bit.

Regarding the thumbnails: read the documentation.

I just uploaded pictures and linked them in the descriptions. Problem solved
