Mack,

Click on the Faq and Documentation links at the top of this web page.

You need to at least read these first before deciding if Coppermine is what you really need to be using.

While I think Coppermine is great and should be what every user wanting a gallery should eventually use, it may be a little too complex for someone with little or no computer experience (do not confuse this with website development experience).  It may also offer too many features for someone that needs a very simple gallery.

So please read the Faqs and Documentation first.  If you can follow along and feel confident about being able to handle the installation and upload instructions.  Then by all means, go for it.

well i have alot of computr experience im a programmer and a web designer i  just want to know was there an easier way going about making a gallery

If you have all that experience, installing Coppermine should be very easy for you.  All you have to do is read the instructions.
