not sure what its called?

I am trying to change something but I am not sure what it is called that I am looking for
at the main page (public)
below a catagory, in an album, next to the piture there is file(s) information
for example 13 files lat one added..... date..
what is this called.. (not on the page after you click but while still on the catagories area..)
does anyone know how to not have this information shown?
I cant look it up if I dont know what its called.. (I dont care eather way if its show after you click an images etc..

along the same lines if its easyer i wouldnt mind getting rid of file information whosale..(everywhere)
like number of albums. files
