Seem to have a CHMod problem
« on: March 14, 2005, 07:17:22 pm »

I went to upload some pictures today and added a folder inside the albums folder. The folder I added came up as 'not writable' in the coppermine control pnel. Plrobably just a CH Mod needed i thought.

I did this, but then the whole 'albums' folder became unwriteable, the whole gallery went off, with loads of broken links etc.

I reset all the CH Mods on the folders, but it's still the same.

Any ideas helpful, as it's looking like a re-install might be needed!

Regards

A re-install won't fix permissions - this is a problem you should seek help from your webhost with. Tell them to CHMOD coppermine's albums folder (and everything within it) so that the php script (the webserver) has rwx permissions.
