I was thinking if a user changed the language preference to another language, that the albums and catergories changes to the selected language.... of course the person who names the albums will have to add it in both english and any other languages they want to.

no way IMHO! (at least not without heavy modifications you'd have to do). Try using Babelfish if you must have everything translated.

You'd have to add the names of your albums and categories to each language file, add variables for each album and category name, and then find and replace every instance that refers to album/category names and replace it with a variable that would somehow intuitively know which album/category should be called up.

If you're up to the task, more power to ya!  :lol:  Personally, it's not worth the work.

I strongly doubt that this feature will go into the core, as only a very small minority of coppermine users would find this usefull.
