Erased pictures
« on: August 26, 2004, 01:12:09 pm »

Hello,

during a server change I accidentaly erased some pictures (the files!) from coppermine, but they are still in the db.
How can I erase them all at once? (is there a tool to check if a file is still available, and that erases the record when it doesn't)?

Please help me :)

I don't think there's a tool that will delete records from the DB for pictures that do not exist any more.  Your best bet is to click on each picture that doesn't exist in your site and click Delete.  If they were all in one album, you could write a SQL query that would remove all of them from the DB, once you find out what the album number was.  If you want to post a link to your site, I might be able to help you.j  PM me

But, and now the big problem comes: I can't even remove them (it simply doesn't work).

I could do it with mysql, but I really am too lazy for that :p

(but I guess I'll have to do it that way... next week or something)

Hmmm, the problems mainly lies here: Bende van bottelare > Feest in bottelare
but it's possible more files are lost :(
