Using the Groups Admin tool, the admin can decide which user groups can upload photos, and how many they can upload at once.  They have to browse for each picture to upload separately.  If you are looking for a single tool that can upload multiple photos at once, you can use XP Publisher, or, if you want to use java, look for my JUpload mod on the board.  It will let users upload multiple photos at once.

strange.. i use 1.3.1 but under groups in admin it only lets me specifiy which groups can upload, but no option for choosing how many photos at once!

am i in the wrong place to change this?

also, can peopel upload without the need for approval?

thanks though. i'll do a search for ur upload tool. it sounds helpful!!!

cpg1.3.1 had this option - you probably didn't upgrade properly from a previous version. Re-upload groupmgr.php from your package, or (even better) upgrade to cpg1.3.2.
