« on: August 23, 2004, 10:42:55 pm »

Hey there.... I'm new to this forum, and I'm only looking for answers, like a lot other are :D

I'd like to know why I can't uploade a .gif picture to my gallery?

I've only installed it, done nothing else!!!

You're probably using GD that used to have no gif support for legal reasons (there have been copyright issues in the way). The copyright has now expired, and the most recent version of GD does come with gif support, but probably this brand new GD version is not installed on your server yet (you can not do that yourself, your webhost has to do this for you). There's littel we (the coppermine team) can do about this. For details, check http://www.boutell.com/gd/
