where is this other page? inside of coppermine or just on your site in general? and where would you like to have the link show up?

So this link is on the front page is going somewhere within the gallery? can you give a little more explanation about where this link is going and where on the page it needs to be located?

well actually
i wanted to add a link to explain more about one of the Albums
this means that i would have a link as part of the album description, so that you can describe it in much greater detail.
Thanks :)

you can use bbcode (similarly to the code here on this board) to add urls to the albums description, see http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#album_prop
For a working example, check our Demo page and take a look at the description of the album "vegetables" that has a link pointing to the "fruits" album (the link could point anywhere you like).

P.S. Regarding your initial post on this thread: posting your email address on a publicly accessible board will only result in your email account being spammed more. The point of having a support board is that others can benefit from the solutions of a thread, that's why posting an email address when requesting support is being considered selfish - not a good idea.

oh thanks alot, how stupid of me not to try using BB code, duh
thanks for the CMS thing too, that was useful aswell.
I've prettey much sorted it out now,
p.s. i understand the dangers of posting email address, however, the email address i have posted is one specifically made for my spam, i use it when registering on forums and stuff like that :)
thanks again
