CPG 1.3.1 hacked
« on: August 12, 2004, 08:53:41 am »

Hello,

I have a problem with CPG 1.3.1 installed in my website. At first i had installed version 1.3.0, and a hacker erased all my galery.

After i decided update to CPG 1.3.1 to avoid security problems, but it's has been hacked again. This time the hacker have changed all my configuration, deleted all my users in database (included admin user).

Does anybody know a good solution to avoid this problem? It's very important to me find solution to this problem or i'll have to change of application for my gallery.

Excuse me for my English, but i'm writing from Spain.

Thanks!!

When you upgraded, did you also ask your webhost to change your database username and password? Once you do that, get the lastest version from the stable branch of CVS.

I think you'd better to change you admin password...
