You know where the galleryname and then the owner name are shown? yeah, see for somereason on my site, id like the footer to be there, and the galleryname/owner thing to be in the footer... is there a way you can possibly allow the user in the enxt version to select where to display your branding?

no, since showing how to edit it would mean also showing how to get rid of it - we won't do that. There's an awfull lot of space you can use to come up with additional information, the tiny space that is used by the footer should be OK, considering the fact you get this software for free.
