'alblist' used alone does not display anything...
« on: August 04, 2004, 08:28:18 pm »

Sounds like you have not got 'alblist' specified in 'contents of main page', in config.
You should always have catlist and alblist here.

I found this interesting, and am in fact having problems using simply "alblist" in the "The content of the main page" field.

If I add any other item to the list, eg: "alblist/topn", both parts display properly, however if I only use "alblist" nothing displays.

I am using 1.3.1 and have tried every variation of "alblist" : /alblist, alblist/, /alblist/, alblist to no avail.

Is it in fact necessary to have one other item listed if alblist is used?

hmmm. maybe my ignorance is showing here...

OK, so I have only alblist selected.

If I go to

http://clintcearley.com/cpg/index.php

nothing shows, however if I then go to a picture that I know exists:

http://clintcearley.com/cpg/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=1

...and then click on 'Album List' in the menu, I get the album list and the url is defining a category now...

http://clintcearley.com/cpg/index.php?cat=5

Is that standard behavior?

You must have both catlist and alblist in the contents of main page, as stated in my post you quoted..
