[Solved]: problem with album category
« on: August 02, 2004, 04:20:35 pm »

Hi please can someone help me with this problem:

Basically when i click on the text of the album category on index.php it takes me to another page and on that page it doesn't show which albums are in this category it just shows the row as blank and under it, it shows random files & last additions for that category so it doesn't show which albums are present in that category which i would like it to show.

please could someone help me as I don't understand what the problem is.

Sounds like you have not got 'alblist' specified in 'contents of main page', in config.
You should always have catlist and alblist here.

[:| shouldn't your posting have gone into the support board instead of "feature requests"? Please post what version you're using, so we can move this thread accordingly.

posting everything in upper case letters is usually regarded as shouting on the internet. Nobody likes being shouted at. Instead, you could do what the supporters already suggested: Casper told you to check the "Content of your main page" settings in coppermine config to have "alblist" - details can be found in the documentation that comes with coppermine.
I already asked you to post what version of coppermine you are using. Please do post this as well.

You are using version 1.3.1.  Please quote this in future, to devs the latest version may be something else.
If you have got in config, 'contents of mainpage', that has 'alblist' and catlist' in it, then you have over modified your theme.

Send me an admin account login by pm.  Do not post it on the board.

Save a copy of your theme.php as a text file, and attach it to a post on this thread.

This was caused by your overmodification of the theme.
Try this version.
