batch add suggestion
« on: August 02, 2004, 06:37:51 am »

Ok, here's one to make my life way easier.  Why not after you batch add something, and create the thumb/full size pics don't you just delete the original files?  This just saves me a step, and I'm sure it would most people too.

Coppermine creates intermediate (normal) and thumbnail images.  Clicking on the intermediate image causes the fullsize (original image) to be shown in a pop up window.  Since many users take advantage of this (myself included), deleting the original images doesn't seem the right thing to do.

deleting the original sized pics on upload (admin settable of course) will probably be a feature in the next full version release of coppermine, as others have suggested this feature as well. Currently, this feature is notr available.

In the future, if you want a new feature, please post in the "feature requests" board, not in the support board.
