Disable album thumbs on main page?
« on: July 31, 2004, 06:54:44 pm »

Hi all,

Just setup the gallery last night...smooth as silk...great app!
One question...

I have numerous albums displayed on the main page. I have no cataqories. Is there a way to just have the album
names listed without a thumbnail?. I want thumbs once I click into an album, but not on the main page. Just the album names.

Thanks...

Try this.

open themes/yourtheme/theme.php, and find this code;

Code: [Select]
// HTML template for the album list
$template_album_list = <<<EOT

Now in this section only, find;

Code: [Select]
<!-- BEGIN album_cell -->
        <td width="{COL_WIDTH}%" height="100%" valign="top">
        <table width="100%" height="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
        <tr>
                <td colspan="3" height="1" valign="top" class="tableh2">
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="alblink"><b>{ALBUM_TITLE}</b></a>
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
                <td colspan="3">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1"><br />
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr height="100%">
                <td align="center" height="100%" valign="middle" class="thumbnails">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="{THUMB_CELL_WIDTH}" height="1" class="image" style="margin-top: 0px;
 margin-bottom: 0px; border: none;"><br />
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="albums">{ALB_LINK_PIC}<br /></a>
                </td>
                <td height="100%">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1">
                </td>
                <td width="100%" height="100%" valign="top" class="tableb_compact">
                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                        <p>{ALB_DESC}</p>
                        <p class="album_stat">{ALB_INFOS}</p>
                </td>
        </tr>
        </table>
        </td>
<!-- END album_cell -->

And replace it with this;

Code: [Select]
<!-- BEGIN album_cell -->
        <td width="{COL_WIDTH}%" height="100%" valign="top">
        <table width="100%" height="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
        <tr>
            <td colspan="3" height="1" valign="top" class="tableh2">
                        <a href="{ALB_LINK_TGT}" class="alblink"><b>{ALBUM_TITLE}</b></a>
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
                <td colspan="2">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1"><br />
                </td>
        </tr>
        <tr height="100%">

                <td height="100%">
                        <img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1" height="1">
                </td>
                <td width="100%" height="100%" valign="top" class="tableb_compact">
                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                        <p>{ALB_DESC}</p>
                        <p class="album_stat">{ALB_INFOS}</p>
                </td>
        </tr>
        </table>
        </td>
<!-- END album_cell -->

EDITED, for better looks.
