CGI-BIN error
« on: July 29, 2004, 03:40:35 am »

please help!

I beleive this must have been working a month ago when I was setting things up, however when I go to the CONFIG section in ADMIN mode and try to change any of the settings I get the 404 page error upon submitt.

EXAMPLE: deleting a catagory gives this as a result

http://www.wiredla.com/cgi-bin/php?op=deletecat&cid=2

which directs to a 404 page.

I could have sworn this had to have worked before when I originally configed the board.

I just updated to 1.3.1 today to try and fix this problem but to no avail it's still persistant..

Any suggestions

your webhost seems to have changed your server settings (this happens quite often, they change things without notifying their users). Search the board for "/cgi-bin/php".

thank you!!

I discovered one of your posts on the subjet last night and modified the $php_self to config.php, but still have the issue. I have also notified, who else...but godaddy of the problem, and will look at the other posts now to see what else I can find.
Thanks for the help ;)
