Bridge phpbb2 and coppermine
« on: July 28, 2004, 05:38:18 pm »

Hello.

Thanks all for the great help.  Things are working well.  Currently I'm bridging copperine and phpbb2.0.8 When You click on login in the gallery, it sends you to phpbb's login.  Is it possible to set up some sort of login through the gallery script useing the phpbb database, with out useing the phpbb scripts, instead useing a modified gallery login script?  That way solving the re-direct issues, of being sent to the forum, and loging in there?

In theory, anything is possible - you will only need someone to come up with actual code ;). A hack like the one you're requesting doesn't exist. The reason is quite simple: most bbs have protection routines that won't allow third party software to insert code as a security feature.
