How do i edit text out from appearing in the index.php page :?:

ie. I wish to edit out the REGISTER link.

I still wish to be able to call the register.php page by creating my own link from elsewhere.

Any ideas!

To clarify:

Do you desire to prevent user registration entirely? In other words, do you wish to register all users yourself?

Or do you still want to allow users to register themselves?
