Can't create new albums
« on: September 10, 2021, 06:21:44 pm »

Hi everyone, thanks for everyone's efforts to develop such an amazing platform.  :-*

I've been having a problem for a few days and I haven't got a solution even by consulting my host.

I can edit existing albums, I can upload, but I can't create any new albums in any of the categories. My coppermine is updated to the latest version, I've already tested it with another theme, tried with another user and I still have the same problem. When I click to create new album, type in a term and when I click "ok", it gets a loading symbol and stops at that.

Could someone please help me find a solution?  :-\

You may have run into this issue which causes that symptom.

That wasn't exactly the problem. I compared the _albums table to another gallery that I have that is working normally, and I noticed that there was an extra column called 'H5ss_cfg' in this one. I dropped it and it worked normally again.

Glad you solved it. If you are still using the HTML5 slideshow, you should make sure that you are using the latest version. The issue you had was resolved a couple versions ago.
