New folder in albums/ every time it reaches a number?
« on: September 09, 2021, 04:55:52 am »

Hello there, I would like to know if there is a way to limit the number of files inside an albums folder ie: albums/1001 to automatically move to the next one 1002.
Can it be possible?

Because when transfering the gallery to another server these huge folders always give me problems

Not possible out of the box.

How do you transfer from one server to another? If you are using Linux servers then learn to use SCP or RSYNC and that should end your woes. Many -do-leave copy files to windows then copy them to their new location. Unless you zip them before download, then unzip them on the new system that can cause other issues whatever the folder size.
