Deleting files
« on: April 13, 2021, 07:00:22 pm »

Hello,

I'm rearranging my gallery and deleting some files, i noticed that the original files remains at the database. I deleted the ones i could using FTP, but most of it are uploaded at the userpics album. Is there a way to delete the original files from the userpics album?

As an admin you can delete files from anywhere. You should do it from inside Coppermine, not via ftp for the problems you have discovered.

I deleted via Coppermine, but the original files are still there at the userpics directory.

Then you probably have a permissions problem. Check the file ownership and permissions using the CHOWN and CHMOD commands or from within your chosen FTP application
