It worked so well in 1.5.48 and now it no longer works but gives an error message.

Except for the curve theme the others are fairly old but still work with this version.If it can't be fixed to work with the --I think new coding for the 1.6 gallery -- then how can I make the intermediate images go from intermediate to full size or as close as possible to full size.
