Wordpress plugin?
« on: March 04, 2019, 06:07:11 am »

Hello!

Under Coppermine 1.5 there were some WP plugins allowing to display random images from the Coppermine Galleries. With 1.6, these plugins do not work (the most recent anyway was updated 7 years ago!).
Any idea if I could find something like this?
Thank you

You can use "PHP Code Widget" to have a widget with CPMFetch

I hang me on this thread, as I think the wordpress community is very popular, and could also help if there would be a good working widget available. In case someone has these days to be in quarantee, and need a chalange...

I used until now
TTC Coppermine Badge Widget https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/coppermine-badge-widget/
and
Coppermine Photo Gallery Badge Plugin for WordPress  https://wordpress.org/plugins/coppermine-badge/
both from same editor, which is not anymore active. What I've seen are they both for mysql and not mysqli, may also some other minor adoption are required.

Further plugins which are outdated and do not work anymore:
- Display CPG Thumbnails https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/display-cpg-thumbnails/
- WP Coppermine Plugin https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cpg-widget/

You could try using the CPG xfeed plugin with any number of rss widgets for Wordpress. Using that method would allow CPG and Wordpress to be widely separated instead of in the same hosting account.
