Need help with my gallery

Hi,
I have an old Coppermine gallery with about 32.000 photos of Spanish Mastiffs.
Lately someone hacked my gallery, so all Spanish letters like ñ, í, ó etc. - are showing errors. The worst is, that the photos which include spanish letters are now invisible... :-\
Can anyone help me fixing my gallery? I am an 'old' girl at 67, and I do not think I can fix this by myself  :)

I really, really need help..!!
I want to 'save' my gallery. Collected photos in my gallery for many, many years. Unfortunately the gallery has not been updated for several years (I know that is stupid).
As I wrote, someone hacked my gallery lately, so all files with spanish letters are 'destroyed/not visible'...
I do not know where the hackers made these 'changes', and I do not know how to fix the gallery...
Will an update to a newer version help solving my problem? - or has the hacker 'put his mark', so an update is useless?
Please! give me some advice - or tell me where I can get help...
I will of course pay for help to update my gallery - and solving the hacker problems...

Solving the hacking issues is sometimes simple, sometimes very time consuming. I will send yo a pm with my email details and see if I can help. It will not be until Friday as I am away from home until then
