360 Panoramas
« on: December 23, 2016, 02:09:32 pm »

Looking for a way to showcase some 360 panoramas I have taken with a Samsung gear 360 camera. I'm willing to pay for the integration of a JS viewer like http://photo-sphere-viewer.js.org/ or something similar that will allow user to pan around the images in gallery.

I think it could be implemented in your theme. Is there a specific theme that you are using (need to use)?

I'm actually using the Gin and Tonic theme  http://www.gin-and-tonic.de/ But Im running Coppermine 1.6.01 from git if that makes a difference.

Or maybe this plugin is suitable - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,59986.0.html

Not sure if it present the pictures the same way....I may have to setup us a test version of my gallery and test out. Thanks

Find attached the gin&tonic theme with additions to accomplish the panorama view using the player you referenced.  The only things that you actually need to add to your current theme are the js folder and the modified theme.php file. Name any file that you want presented in full view as a panorama to start with 360_ ... so change mycar_pano.jpg to 360_mycar_pano.jpg. That trigger method could be changed in some way to suit your needs.

This modification is for CPG 1.6.x only.
