No files uploaded
« on: July 12, 2004, 03:22:52 am »

After I browse for a file and then click Continue, this message shows up: "0 uploads were successful." What could be the problem?
Thanks,
-JM

you'll have to provide more details. This could be caused by the albums folder or it's subfolders not being writtable by the script (CHMOD issue), the edit folder not existing within your albums folder, the file size being to large, the pic dimensions being too large etc.

Enable debug_mode and check the output then.
Post a link and a test account (non-admin, with upload privileges).

Did you make sure the edit folder exists and you CHMODed properly?

try to CHMOD the albums folder (and all sub-folders) with 755 - not all webservers are configured to let you CHMOD to 777

I set upload settings in groupmanager to single file uploads to see more messages, this is what I get:
Quote
No file was uploaded !

If you have really selected a file to upload, check that the server allows file uploads...

File: /home/darkfoxx/public_html/photos/db_input.php - Line: 222
I'm quite sure it's the write permissions on the server (which I can't check when logged in as admin to coppermine, shell or ftp access needed). Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing: please re-apply your CHMOD settings as you say you already have, and make a screenshot of every step. Maybe there's something fishy there. Apart from that, I have little idea what else to do, except contacting your webhost for support, sorry.

GauGau

P.S. You can safely delete the admin account you sent me

I know I am chmod'ing correctly, I'v done it hundreds of times before. I used to run my own webserver, so I am quite familiar with this stuff. I am thinking that the php.ini file on the server end is not allowing uploads. I'll check with them...
