Some album thumbnails are not showing

Hello guys, I'm really puzzled  by this: I uploaded several albums today. Some of them are not displaying their thumbnaul in the main index. The odd thing is that they do show them in the "Album recent uploads" category. I'm using the Curve theme.
Any ideas?

Just to clarify, the new albums in question are NOT empty.

Why? Even if I do currently the majority of the support work, the other team members also have ideas what could be wrong.
