config doesnt exist
« on: October 25, 2015, 02:45:20 pm »

This is all  my fault I got carried away deleting things on my sql clearing old ones out and by accident I deleted it and then created it again. Now I get this error on my website. I hope I can solve this error because it would take ages to do it all  over again.

While executing query 'SELECT name, value FROM cpg_config' in include/init.inc.php on line 181

mySQL error: Table 'skyline1_copp1.cpg_config' doesn't exist

Please help  :-\

Do you have a backup of your database?

What did you delete?  Just the config table? All CPG tables?  The entire database?
What did you 'create again'?
Guessing you wouldn't be asking if you took a backup...

Contact your ISP - or look for a "Restore" option in your site Control Panel.
Good hosts take regular backups for you (mine does daily) - and may be able to restore from there...
(If you completely deleted the database, may need to redefine it empty first...)

If there truly is no backup, rebuilding the database can be a very long manual task.
How much can automated depends on how many users were uploading (a single admin vs many users).. If the 'albums' folder structure matches you categories/albums, etc.  Some data (comments, votes, views) will not be recoverable.
This effort would go well beyond the 'free' support provided in the forum.
I couldn't even begin to estimate the effort without more information.

Hopefully your ISP will have a backup..  And I'm sure you will take your own backups in the future.
